Two-channel endoscopic spine surgery

For the treatment of spinal canal stenosis, vertebral dislocation (spondylolisthesis) and spinal disc hernia

Imagine being able to walk the day after spinal surgery and return to your daily life with less pain and faster. Endoscopic spinal surgery provides a revolutionary opportunity to treat spinal canal stenosis, vertebral dislocation and spinal hernia with less pain and faster healing*.

A New Era in Spine Surgery

The two-channel endoscopic spine surgery method developed in South Korea is among the most modern minimally invasive procedures, which represents a significant improvement in the field of spine surgery compared to traditional procedures. Since the introduction of the technique in 2018 (the first in Europe), the use of a 2-working channel endoscope has become available in everyday spine surgery practice at Dr. Czigléczki Endoscopic Spine Center.

During endoscopic spinal surgery, the surgeon makes two small incisions of 1-2 cm, through which specially designed instruments are introduced into the surgical area. With the help of a high-resolution camera, the surgeon can see the surgical area accurately, so he can safely remove components or hernias that press on nerve structures with as little tissue damage as possible. The intervention can be performed under general anesthesia or spinal anesthesia by prior consultation with the patient. Hospitalization takes 1-2 days.

In the attached photo you can see the small incisions, from which diseases of the spine can be cured.

Benefits of endoscopic spine surgery

Minimal incisions: Due to minor incisions, surgical trauma is significantly reduced, healing is faster and less painful.

Faster recovery and rehabilitation: In many cases, patients can go home the day after surgery and live a full life sooner.

Less scarring: The endoscopic technique minimizes scarring, which is more aesthetically pleasing and causes fewer complications later.

Endoscopic spine surgery not only offers faster recovery, but also allows you to return to your daily life with less pain. Dr. Gábor Czigléczki and his team of experts are committed to providing you with a safe, personalized treatment plan.

Disadvantages of traditional spine surgery

Larger incisions: Traditional methods involve larger incisions, resulting in greater surgical trauma and longer healing times.

Longer recovery: Patients need more time to recover and take longer to return to their daily activities.

Greater scarring: Larger incisions also cause a higher degree of scarring, which is less aesthetically pleasing and can cause more complications later on.

Spinal canal stenosis, vertebral dislocation (spondylolisthesis) and spinal hernia can cause severe pain and limited mobility. If even surgery involves a large cut and strain, healing can take a significantly long time.
